Que Sera Sera

On the one hand, I know that in a committed relationship one can perhaps expect some patience in such matters from the other person, especially when they've said that they want to take their time when making relationship decisions.

On the other hand, the dark-haired girl's expression as I left was not the same as it usually is. When I leave her place, she waits in her apartment's doorway until I have gone from sight. This time, there was no smile, tired or otherwise, no little wave goodbye.

And this morning, there was no happy greeting IM awaiting me when I got up.

So... she's probably thinking about my shortcomings, and it's not a positive thing.

She might jst be a bit embarrased, or not know what to say?

"Stone-faced" is the term that I think matches the expression she had.

We had a good weekend, though, despite it being put off a couple of times, so whatever doubts she may have had at that moment were at least set aside. And after this weekend's more successful activities in that area, the issue has to be defined in her mind as tiredness/dislike of wrappers on my part, not the big "he can't keep up his end of the bargain" worry.
